Ein Nachtstück, das den Rhythmus der Sarabande beschwört und variiert. Technisch ist das pitch-bending in mannigfaltigen Varianten in diesem Werk von Bedeutung.
Es wurde im Auftrag von Christopher Brandt 2004 komponiert und uraufgeführt. 2023 war es
Pflichtstück beim Internationalen Gitarren-Wettbewerb (Musikforum Schweinfurt).
Im gleichen Heft gedruckt: Sarabande G-Moll (1733) aus der Klaviersuite 7 von Händel bearbeitet für Gitarre von Kühnl.
