Die vorliegenden Sonaten K77 und K90 sind dem Band 14 der fünfzehnbändigen Handschriftensammlung aus der Bibliotheca nazional marciana in Venedig entnommen, Die Sonate K77 steht in d-Moll und weicht mit ihren zwei Sätzen von dem üblichen Schema der Drei- und Viersätzigkeit der Mandolinensonaten ab. Die K90 – ebenfalls in d-Moll – ist wiederum in der Form der Sonata da chiesa mit der Satzfolge langsam – schnell – langsam – schnell. Beide Sonaten sind von großer musikalischer Schönheit, gepaart mit faszinierender Virtuosität und gleichwertig gut auf Barock- und Neapolitanischer Mandoline zu spielen.
